NEW CANADIAN CERTIFICATION!:

UNIRAC UGC-1 IS NOW CERTIFIED FOR CANADA!

The Unirac SolarMount Top Mounting Grounding Clip (UGC-1) is used for bonding PV modules to Unirac SolarMount mounting rails.  The UGC-1 is designed to provide a reliable gas-tight electrical connection between the solar module and the rail beneath.

In use, the UGC-1 is inserted between the PV module and rail at two of the four clamping points.  The module and rail are then clamped together in the usual manner.  The specially designed teeth penetrate any module or rail coating for excellent conductivity.

  • Material: 304 stainless steel
  • Listed to ANSI-UL 467 by InterTek ETL for Canada and the USA
  • Maximum electrical equipment ground conductor size when used with 2 UGC-1's contacting each module in an assembly: 6 AWG
  • Outdoor rated
